The premiere and signing event for the movie "Match-making" took place at Park Cinema, Park Bulvar.
On April 16, the movie "Match-making" held its signing day at "Park Cinema" with the organizational support of "Park Bulvar" shopping mall.
The event was attended by the leading actors, supporting actors, and other individuals associated with the film. Following their interaction with the audience and a discussion about the film, the attendees watched the movie together.
The movie featured notable actors, including Meral Konrat, renowned for her role as "Tahmina" in Azerbaijan, presenters Elgiz Akbar and Parvana Tahirgizi, singers Khatun and Barish Komurcuoglu, as well as actors Teymur Mammadov, Firuza Balayeva, and Niftulla Asgarov.
The screenplay was conceptualized by Togrul Huseynli, with Ilham Yarasharaoglu serving as the production director (known for works like "My Name is Intigam," the romantic comedy "Hozu," and the adventure comedy "Hozu Bodyguard"). The script for the movie was penned by Ajami Asadulla ("The Returners").
The movie commences with the arrival of a matchmaker from a Turkish family to an Azerbaijani family. These families got to know each other through the social network. Both families introduce themselves as affluent, and they mutually decide to unite their children in matrimony, aiming to merge their wealth and fortunes. These families were wealthy at the time, but later went bankrupt.
The objective of both families was to marry off their children to a prosperous family and thereby regain their former prosperity. At the end of the events that took place against the background of the family from Turkey staying in the home of the Azerbaijani family during the period of acquaintance and the matchmaking, the inner faces of both families are revealed and they become enemies of each other. The young individuals slated for marriage develop a romantic affection for one another, and despite the objections of the adults from their impoverished families, they decide to marry.
During this period, a series of unexpected events, along with the arrival of a monkey from Africa, result in a sudden reversal of fortune, bringing newfound wealth to the families. In the end, families become rich, and their children get married and happy. No one cares about anyone's wealth... Ultimately, it is pure love and affection that emerge victorious in the end.
