Interschool Astronomy Olympiad
On September 13th, the award ceremony for the winners of the III Interschool Astronomy Olympiad at the national level, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the esteemed national leader Heydar Aliyev, was held.
The objective of organizing the Olympiad is to foster a heightened interest in the field of astronomy among students and to provide a more prominent role for the discipline of astronomy within the education system.
It is noteworthy that the III Interschool Astronomy Olympiad, along with preparatory sessions for the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics , were conducted with the invaluable support of the "Tusi-Bohm Planetarium," which stands as the sole planetarium in the South Caucasus region.
